You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and assembly of a variety of equipment, including small landscape equipment, loaders, tractors, gas & diesel trucks, hydraulic equipment, and our own line of lake weed harvesting equipment. You will also assist in shop management and oversee occasional customer repairs.

**Responsibilities and Duties:**
Clean machines and machine parts using appropriate tools and equipment. Collaborate with other team members to repair and move machines as needed. Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using hand tools or hoists. Inspect damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs. Install, replace or change machine parts and attachments according to specifications. Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and supplies. Lubricate machines and apply adhesives or other materials as required. Reassemble machines after completing repairs or maintenance work. Assemble Lake Weed Harvesting machines as part of our manufacturing process.

**Qualifications:**
Minimum 1 year of experience as a mechanic. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage a shop environment effectively. Experience with equipment maintenance and repair preferred.
